The Monroe Police Officers Guild is the sole collective bargaining representation for Monroe, Washington Police Officers. The purpose of MPOG is to improve the wages, hours and working conditions as well as protect the employment rights of its members through the collective bargaining process. Any Monroe Police Officer or Detective under the rank of Sergeant is eligible for membership.
Monroe Police Officers Guild was created in 2005 and is seperate from the Monroe Police Officers Association which is the philanthropic social arm of the Monroe Police Department.
MPOG is affiliated with the Washington Council of Police and Sheriffs (WACOPS) monitoring legislation and other issues that affect law enforcement nationally and within the State.
